The EZEE LOOP can also be used to anchor your
boat to a bridge piling or any other piling like structure up
to 4' in diameter (12.6' circumference). Just remove the loop
in the wire rope cable and add a small loop in the end of the
nylon rope.
Following the sequence of pictures below
clockwise beginning in the upper left picture, position the
boat and yourself very close to the piling. Grasp the EZEE
LOOP handle and swing the wire cable and nylon rope around the
piling ensuring that the handle does not strike the piling.
Being close to the piling so that your arm goes partially
around the piling will ensure that the handle does not hit the
piling. As the end of the nylon rope comes around the piling,
catch or trap the nylon rope against the piling using your
other hand.
The EZEE LOOP is not left around the
piling. It is only used to transport another rope around the
piling and then it is tied to the boat. So once you have the
end of the nylon rope in hand attach the other rope to the
small loop that had already been placed in the end of the
nylon rope. It makes it much easier to have a snap hook or
something similar already installed on the other rope. That
way it can just be hooked into the loop on the nylon rope of
the EZEE LOOP. Hook the other rope to the loop and then pull
the other rope around the piling. Once around remove the snap
hook from the loop and hook it to itself and then tie the
other rope to the boat and you are anchored.

When not in use,
the EZEE LOOP should be kept dry to reduce chances of
corrosion. It is easily stored in one of the boats
compartments. Just form a small loop in the cable and wrap the
nylon rope around the handle on the other end. Pass the end of
the rope back thru the last wrap to secure it in place.
